A little about Hit the Deck Patio Warehouse...
In 1990 a small patio furniture store began its story on the Delmarva Peninsula. Located on Route 54 - Lighthouse Road, the summertime enterprise quickly became a favorite shopping experience for locals and visitors to the area. In 2000 the friendly little store was purchased by Jim and Clare Mace. The Maces' had recently retired and moved from Pennsylvania. The next several years the area saw dramatic growth and changing customer demands. As the resort area population grew and more year-round communities emerged, Hit the Deck Patio Warehouse flourished.
In 2003 Hit the Deck, LLC was formed, and the growing business welcomed the addition of Dustin Shepherd and Kebbie Crout. With a background in art and design, Kebbie found joy in helping customers create custom furniture. The pair helped create a much needed marketplace for commercial and contract outdoor furnishings. We are now able to service the areas homeowner associations, restaurants, hotels, golf courses and other businesses.
